A new outdoor market has opened in Dún Laoghaire town centre beside St Michael’s Church and the shopping centre. The market is open from 9.30am-4pm every Friday and has both food and gift stalls.

Congratulations to all involved with getting it up and running. I hope it’s a great success.

The Green Party Leader and Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, John Gormley, met with representatives from the Dún Laoghaire Business Association in Leinster House on Tuesday.
 
Also in attendance was local Green Party Minister of State, Ciarán Cuffe TD, who organised the meeting as part of his ‘Vision for Dún Laoghaire’ initiative.

Green Party TD for Dún Laoghaire Ciarán Cuffe stated:

Ciarán Cuffe TD has welcomed the start of works on Crofton Road which will improve pedestrian access to Dún Laoghaire Dart Station. This is part of an overall upgrade to the Metals Walkway and Marine Road.

Ciarán Cuffe TD for Dún Laoghaire said: 

 "Many of the planned improvements for Dún Laoghaire town reflect the wishes of local residents and business owners as expressed at the Vision for Dún Laoghaire public meeting I held in July.
