Christmas Tree Recycling will take place from Tuesday 4th - Sunday 16th January 2011 inclusive between 9.30am and 4pm at the following locations:

Contra Flow Cycle Lane for Newtown Avenue - Have Your Say

Newtown Ave Blackrock

A contra flow cycle lane has been proposed by the Council for Newtown Avenue between Idrone Terrace and Seapoint Avenue in Blackrock. If approved, it will form a key piece in the route of the Sandycove to Sutton Cycle Way.

Cuffe Welcomes Return of Open House to DĂșn Laoghaire

Green Party TD for DĂșn Laoghaire and Minister for Planning, CiarĂĄn Cuffe, has welcomed the return of Open House to DĂșn Laoghaire, now in its third year.

Open House Dublin, launched by Minister Cuffe last month, is funded by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and involves the opening of historic buildings, landmarks and private residences to the public from the 7-10 October 2010.

Cuffe Launches National Organic Week

Launch of National Organic Week 2010

Green Party Minister for Horticulture, CiarĂĄn Cuffe TD, today launched National Organic Week 2010. The week, which is co-ordinated by Bord Bia and funded by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, takes place this year from the 13-19 September. Now in its sixth year, the week-long campaign and promotional events aim to continue to raise consumer awareness of organic food and increase the consumption of locally produced organic food.

Change to Waste Collection in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown

The Green Party has called for continuity of waste collection services in DĂșn Laoghaire and protection for householders.

The call follows DĂșn Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's announcement that it intends to withdraw from waste collection services.
