Re. Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Development Plan Review, Final Submission

Dear Mr. Gough,

We enclose the following submission regarding the Development Plan Review.

In general the Green Party welcomes many aspects of the Draft Plan however we wish to highlight the items and ask that you consider the following

-Reverse the increased rezoning in Kilternan Village due to the lack of high quality public transport in the area

-Reverse the increased rezoning at the Airfield lands in order to protect the former Overend Farm.

-Give greater protection to Conservation Areas

-Ensure that new roads are designed as streets within an urban design framework

-Emphasise improved public transport rather than adding lanes to the M50

Sincerely,

………………..                        ………………..
