A Greener Christmas for Dún Laoghaire

Recycle all your Christmas waste, including the tree!

Green Party Dún Laoghaire TD Ciarán Cuffe encourages all residents in the County to make a difference this Christmas by reducing the amount of waste going to landfill after the holidays.

You can recycle your Christmas tree from 2-16 January 2009 between  8.30am and 4pm at the following locations:

- Shanganagh Recycling Centre Car Park
- West Pier Car Park, Dun Laoghaire
- Cabinteely Car Park
- Mount Anville Parks Depot, Goatstown
- Marley Park, Grange Road Car Park
- Blackrock Park Main Entrance
- Killiney Hill Car Park

You can also bring back used batteries to any retail outlet that stocks them. Better still, opt for rechargeable batteries this Christmas!

Your local Bring Centre will take all your paper, cardboard, cans and glass waste. Ballyogen, Eden Park and Shanganagh Recycling Centres will take all your plastic packaging and biscuit tins.
